Our client is looking to hire a motivated individual to join their company as an Sr. IT Project Manager. As part of their technical project management team, you will provide proactive, project management expertise while focusing on customer loyalty and building long-term client relationships. You will drive the delivery of market-leading professional and managed services using a proactive approach focused on the client’s business. In addition, they would encourage your suggestions on new and innovative ways to improve their business. As a Sr. Project Manager, you will help set the standard for delivering a great client experience and help build a world-class services practice. 

Job Functions:  

• Implement best practices, manage critical project metrics, and deliver a world-class services experience.
• Create a positive and impactful relationship with internal teams and clients to deliver the highest level of service.
• Provide subject matter expertise for project delivery, resource management, and delivering successful business outcomes for clients.
• Provide client-facing guidance for complex technology issues involving internal and external technical resources until resolved.
• Evaluate and implement new Project Management technologies and processes to maintain market leadership in service delivery.
• Work with engineering and subcontracting partners to ensure resource management functions operate smoothly for the team and clients.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and the ability to work independently to accomplish key company objectives and service delivery functions for valued clients.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven listening, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable leading meetings with clients at all levels during presales, client kick-off meetings, weekly project calls, services escalations, technical troubleshooting, and project portfolio reviews.
• Detail-oriented and outstanding time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Requirements: 

• 5+ years providing Project Management expertise in a client-facing setting within the IT industry; IT infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions preferred
• 2+ years' experience demonstrating effective scheduling and resource management
• Proficiency creating and delivering project plans and associated project artifacts while articulating value to the client
• Experience with project management tools such as PSA solutions (ConnectWise, Autotask, etc.) and project management applications (Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, etc.)

Preferred Certifications:

• PMI PMP
• PMI CAPM
• Other technical or industry certifications are a plus
